Composite Sketch of Suspect Sought in Shooting at 2046 Cortlandt

Houston police have a released a composite sketch of a suspect wanted in the shooting of a man that occurred at 2046 Cortlandt around 9:30 p.m. on October 16.
The suspect is described as a dark-skinned black male in his late 20s to early 30s, and about 6 feet 2 inches tall. He is believed to be driving a silver or gray Chevrolet Malibu. A composite sketch of the suspect and surveillance photos of the vehicle are attached to this news release.
The victim, 38, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Sergeant K. Mokwa and Officers V. Habukiha and R. Naughton reported:
The victim was walking his dog at the above address when an unknown male drove up and began shooting at him. The suspect then got out of his vehicle, a silver or tan four-door sedan, and continued shooting at the victim, striking him twice. The unidentified suspect then fled the scene.
Further investigation determined the incident is possibly related to a shooting incident in the Baytown area.
