Investigation into Fatal Crash at 5600 Bellaire
Houston police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run crash that occurred at 5600 Bellaire Boulevard about 9:55 p.m. on Friday (May 4).
The male victim, 61, was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Griffiths and Officer F. Bell reported:
The driver of a black Ford Expedition struck the victim, a pedestrian, at the above address. The driver then fled the scene.
The victim was pronounced dead by Houston Fire Department paramedics.
