Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 909 Greens Road
Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a male that occurred at 9090 Greens Road about 10 p.m. on Monday (April 30).
The victim was transported to Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives A. Barr and M. Perez reported:
About 10 p.m., the victim entered the Citgo gas station at the above address and robbed the two store clerks at gunpoint. He then fled the scene on foot eastbound on Greens Road.
Responding HPD patrol officers subsequently located him a few minutes later at the corner of Greens Road and Seminar Drive where he had been shot. He was transported to the hospital where he died from his wounds.
