Investigation into Fatal Crash at 10200 North Freeway
June 18, 2018 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 10200 North Freeway (North Interstate Highway 45) about 2:45 a.m. today.
The identity of the male victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Griffiths and Officer J. Hill reported:
The victim was driving a white Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck northbound on the North Freeway, failed to stay in a single lane and struck a concrete barrier on the right side of the freeway. The barrier broke and landed in the middle of the service road. The driver of the Chevrolet was ejected and then struck by several vehicles on the North Freeway. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
