Suspect Arrested, Charged in Shooting at 16613 Parkridge Court
June 15, 2018 - Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the shooting of a woman that occurred at 16613 Parkridge Court about 5:55 a.m. on Thursday (June 14).
The suspect, Landon Michael Johnson (b/m, 25), is charged with possession of a controlled substance in the 351st State District Court and illegal carrying of a weapon in Harris County Criminal Court #6.

The victim, Monique Allison, suffered a gunshot wound to the right leg and was transported to Memorial Hermann Southwest to be treated.
HPD Major Assaults Unit Officers K. Persad and J. Flores reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the above address and found Ms. Allison sitting in the passenger side of a Nissan Altima with a gunshot wound and suspect Johnson providing medical aid to her. Allison was then transported by HFD paramedics to the hospital.
Further investigation determined Allison had been shot by Johnson in what is believed to be, at this time, an accidental discharge of the weapon. Johnson was found to have prior felony convictions and was in possession of a firearm. He was taken into custody and subsequently charged.
