Investigation into Shooting at 8505 Lenore
June 8, 2018 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 8505 Lenore about 3:45 p.m. on Thursday (June 7).
The victim, Juan Torres, Jr., 17, was transported to an area hospital where doctors stated he is expected to survive his injuries.
HPD Major Assaults Unit Officers A. Le and J. Russell reported:
Mr. Torres was walking home at the above address when an unknown suspect drove up to him in a gold Saturn Ion. Torres heard the suspect say something and, as he turned, the suspect shot him in the chest and then fled the scene. Torres was transported by HFD paramedics to the hospital.
