Investigation into Fatal Crash at 4700 Yellowstone
July 30, 2018 - Houston police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run crash that occurred at 4700 Yellowstone about 5:10 p.m. on Saturday (July 28).
The female victim, 63, was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where she was pronounced dead. Her identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant F. Briones and Officer D. Jones reported:
The driver was a green Ford Ranger pickup truck was traveling eastbound at the above address when the vehicle struck the victim, who was crossing the street not in a crosswalk. The driver fled the scene, striking a white Nissan Altima, causing minor damage to the sedan.
