Investigation into Shooting at 1445 Lakeside Estates Drive
July 25, 2018 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 1445 Lakeside Estates Drive about 2:50 a.m. today (July 25).
The victim, Carlos Lopez, 36, was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds to the left leg and arm.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detectives C. Grahmann and R. Naughton reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a reported shooting in the 1300 block of Wilcrest Drive and found Mr. Lopez with gunshot wounds. He told officers he was shot during a robbery by two unknown male suspects. Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the location and transported Lopez to the hospital.
Further investigation determined Lopez had been shot at 1445 Lakeside Estates Drive. He then walked to the Wilcrest location and called 9-1-1.
The suspects are described only as two Hispanic males.
