Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 5710 Glenmont
January 25, 2017 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a juvenile male at 5710 Glenmont about 5 p.m. on Wednesday (January 24).
The victim, Nelson Cruz, 15, was pronounced dead at the scene.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Burrow and Officers J. Pickett, R. Montalvo and D. Nabors reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the above address and found Mr. Cruz deceased in the apartment complex parking lot.
According to witnesses, two Hispanic males, one of medium height and thin build and the other one being heavy set, were seen fleeing the location.
At this time, there is no known motive for the shooting.
