Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 11211 South Post Oak
January 22, 2017 - Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal shooting of a man at 11211 South Post Oak about 4:30 a.m. on Sunday (Jan. 21).
The suspect, Alberto Sanchez, 22, is charged with murder in the 209th State District Court. A booking photo of Sanchez is not available at this time.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives R. Ridel and T. Colbert reported:
The victim and his boyfriend, Sanchez, were arguing when witnesses in the next room heard a single gunshot. When they went to investigation, they saw Sanchez leaving the victim's bedroom to call 9-1-1. Sanchez was arrested at the scene and subsequently charged in this case.
