Suspect Arrested, Charged in Fatal Crash at 7000 North Freeway
Feburary 20, 2018 - Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in a fatal crash at 7000 North Freeway (North Interstate Highway 45) about 2:35 a.m. on Monday (February 19).
The suspect, Rodolfo Flores-Granados (H/m, 44), is charged with intoxication manslaughter in the 179th State District Court.

The identity of the male victim, 62, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant R. Klementich and Officer K. Hines reported:
Flores-Granados was driving a gray Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck at a high rate of speed southbound on the North Freeway and struck the left cement guardrail, went airborne, struck a red Honda Goldwing motorcycle and then overturned. The operator (victim) of the motorcycle died at the scene. Flores-Granados was transported to Memorial Hermann Greater Heights Hospital to be treated for his injuries. He was determined to be intoxicated and subsequently charged.
