Investigation into Fatal Crash at 7500 Westheimer
December 26, 2018 - Houston police are investigating a fatal auto-pedestrian crash that occurred at 7500 Westheimer about 9:40 p.m. on December 8.
The identity of the victim, 37, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant D. Rodriguez and Midwest Patrol Officer Y. Djoudi reported:
The victim, a pedestrian, stepped into traffic in the 7500 block of Westheimer and was struck by an unknown vehicle traveling eastbound on Westheimer. The victim was transported to Memorial Hermann Southwest and, on Saturday (Dec. 22), was pronounced deceased. The driver of the vehicle failed to stop and render aid to the victim.
