Investigation into Shooting at 1900 North Freeway
Houston police are investigating the shooting of a juvenile female at 1900 North Freeway (North Interstate Highway 45) about 5 p.m. on Saturday (April 14).
The victim,14, was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening wounds.
HPD Major Assaults Unit Detectives T. Huynh and L. Patterson reported:
The victim and an adult male and female were traveling in a black Cadillac Fleetwood southbound on the North Freeway when the vehicle was struck by gunfire. The victim, a front seat passenger, was struck in the right leg. No other persons in the vehicle were injured.
At this time, there is no known motive nor suspect(s).
