Investigation into Fatal Stabbing at 2302 West 18th Street
The fatal stabbing of a man that occurred at 2302 West 18th Street about 4:30 a.m. on Saturday (April 14) will be referred to a Harris County grand jury.
The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Detectives M. Perez and A. Barr reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a disturbance call at an apartment complex at the above address. Officers heard a female talking inside the apartment and knocked on the door. When the female answered, officers noticed blood on her clothing . Officers asked if anyone else was inside the apartment and were told her boyfriend was lying on the kitchen floor. Officers found the male unresponsive and a knife on the floor next to him. Houston Fire Department personnel responded to the scene and pronounced him deceased.
