Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 9437 Merle Street
September 25, 2017 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 9437 Merle Street about 10:30 p.m. last Friday (September 22).
The victim, 30, was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced dead. His identity is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. Dominguez and Officer B. Roberts reported:
The victim was involved in an altercation with his neighbor over a vehicle parked in the street. A short time after the altercation, the victim was shot by an unknown black male who fled the scene in a grey four-door sedan.
