Investigation into Fatal Crash at 8400 Camay
September 25, 2017 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred at 8400 Camay about 6:20 p.m. on Saturday (Sept. 23).
The male victim, 55, was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced dead. His identity is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant T. Tran and Officer L. Tram reported:
The victim was operating a gray Honda motorcycle northwest in the 8600 block of Camay when he failed to control his speed, left the roadway, and struck a ditch. He was then transported to the hospital.
No other vehicles or motorists were involved in this incident.
