Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 10650 Hempstead
October 24, 2017 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man that occurred at 10650 Hempstead about 11:50 p.m. on Monday (Oct. 23).
The identity of the male victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C. Sturdivant and Detective W. Gilbert reported:
Officers responded to a report of a shooting at the Lisa Motel at the above address and found the victim deceased in the parking lot. Witnesses stated the victim had a verbal confrontation with an unknown suspect, who then pulled a weapon and shot the victim in the abdomen. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
