Investigation into Fatal Crash at 10100 Jensen Drive
October 20, 2017 - Houston police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run crash at 10100 Jensen Drive about 7 a.m. today (Oct. 20).
The identity of the deceased male victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant G. Lopez and Officer M. Tamez reported:
Witnesses stated a green Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck and a gray Chevrolet Suburban were traveling southbound at the above address. The victim, a pedestrian, failed to yield the right of way as he crossed Jensen Drive, not at a crosswalk. Both vehicles struck the pedestrian and the drivers then fled the scene with stopping to render aid. Paramedics pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene.
