Investigation into Man Found Deceased at 12800 Wallisville Road
October 18, 2017 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a man found at 12800 Wallisville Road about 8:25 a.m. on Monday (October 16).
The cause of death of the man, Mario Garduno, 58, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeants R. Rodriguez and B. Chebret reported:
A motorist driving on Wallisville Road saw what he believed to be a body floating in Greens Bayou as he crossed a bridge. The passer-by then called police. HPD Dive Team personnel responded to the scene and recovered the body.
An autopsy conducted by The Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences positively identified the man as Garduno, reported missing on October 14.
No foul play is suspected at this time.
