Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 9126 Cullen
October 9, 2017 - The fatal shooting of one man and the wounding of another at 9126 Cullen Boulevard about 10:15 p.m. on Saturday (October 7) will be referred to a Harris County grand jury.
The identity of the deceased male suspect is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. The wounded victim, 59, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. Horn and Detective M. Cass reported:
The suspect got into an argument with another man at the above address. During the argument, the suspect produced a pistol and shot the man and then pointed the weapon at a security guard working at the location. The security guard produced his duty weapon and shot the suspect. The suspect was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The investigation is continuing.
