Investigation into Fatal Crash at 3600 Broadway
October 2, 2017 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 3600 Broadway about 8:50 p.m. on Saturday (September 30).
The identity of the male victim, 67, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant T. Tran and Officer N. Luu reported:
The victim was driving a red Honda Accord the wrong way (southbound) in the northbound lanes of Broadway and struck a white Ford F-350 pickup truck head-on. The victim was transported by HFD paramedics to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced deceased. No one else was injured.
The investigation is continuing.
