Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 431 West Little York
November 13, 2017 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a male suspect following a robbery at 431 West Little York about 8:45 a.m. on Sunday (November 12).
The identity of the suspect is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officers S. Spivey and R. Pemberton reported:
HPD officers responded to a robbery at a gas station at the above address and found the suspect and store clerk had exchanged gunfire during the robbery. The clerk suffered gunshot wounds and was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital. The suspect fled the scene in a vehicle of unknown description and then crashed in a ditch in the 7400 block of Domino Street. The suspect was found deceased from an apparent gunshot wound.
The investigation is continuing.
