Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 4400 Caroline
November 8, 2017 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 4400 Caroline about 11:15 p.m. on Tuesday (Nov. 7).
The identity of the victim, believed to be in his 50s, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant K. Meek and Detective T. Andrade reported:
Officers responded to a shooting call at the above address and found the victim lying in a parking lot. The man, possibly homeless, sustained a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.
There are no known witnesses or suspect(s) at this time.
