Investigation into Fatal Crash at 900 Marcolin
November 6, 2017 - Houston police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run crash at 900 Marcolin about 7:45 p.m. on Saturday (Nov. 5).
The identity of the male victim, 60, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant M. Warhol and Officer L. Tram reported:
The victim, a pedestrian, was walking in the street at the above address when he was struck by an unknown vehicle that fled the scene and whose driver failed to stop and render aid. Paramedics pronounced the man dead at the scene.
At this time, there are no known witnesses to the crash.
Anyone with information on the wanted vehicle and driver is urged to contact the HPD Hit and Run Unit at 713-247-4065 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
