Investigation into Man Found Deceased at 6325 North Wayside

May 31, 2017 - HOUSTON - Houston police are investigating the  death of a man found at 6325 North Wayside about 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday (May 30).  

The victim, Lee Roy Prince, 47, of the above address, was pronounced dead at the scene.  

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Holbrook and Senior Police Officer J. Roscoe reported:  

A relative of Mr. Prince came to his residence to check on him and found him lying on the floor deceased.  A preliminary investigation determined he had suffered an apparent gunshot wound.  Investigators are awaiting autopsy results on Prince's cause of death.  

At this time, there are no known witnesses nor suspects.
