UPDATE: Suspect Arrested, Charged in Fatal Shooting at 12800 Dunlap
May 30, 2017 - HOUSTON - Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal shooting of a man that occurred at 12800 Dunlap at about 11:55 p.m. on April 15.
The suspect, Todrick K. Idlebird (b/m, 23), is charged with murder in the 338th State District Court. He is accused in the killing of Jason Thompson, 35, of Houston.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant W. Huff and Senior Police Officer J. Villarreal reported:
HPD officers responded to an emergency call in Missouri City at 12043 McLain Boulevard about 1:10 a.m. on Sunday (April 16) after Missouri City police officers notified HPD that a victim was found suffering from a gunshot wound and sitting in a black Dodge Charger at the above address. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Witnesses stated the shooting incident took place at 12800 Dunlap about an hour earlier. At that time, there were no known suspects.
Further investigation identified Idlebird as the suspect in this case and last Tuesday (May 23), he was taken into custody without incident.
