Investigation into Fatal Crash at 1900 Holcombe

May 26, 2017 - HOUSTON - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 1900 Holcombe about 2:15 a.m. today (May 26). 

The identity of the male victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. 

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant E. Fendia and Officer D. Henley reported: 

The driver of a white Toyota FJ Cruiser was traveling eastbound on Holcombe, failed to stay in a single lane, and veered into westbound lanes of traffic.   The vehicle then left the roadway and struck a concrete pillar at the entrance of a business at 1905 Holcombe.  The victim died at the scene. 

The investigation is continuing.
