Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 400 Glenburnie
May 8, 2017 - The fatal shooting of two males and the wounding of another male that occurred at 400 Glenburnie at about 2:15 a.m. on Saturday (May 6) will be referred to a Harris County grand jury.
The identities of the two deceased male victims is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant W. Elsbury and Officer K.Elliott reported:
The resident of the above address was in the front yard when a maroon Nissan sedan, occupied with four male suspects, drove by and fired multiple gunshots at the male and his residence. The male, who has a concealed handgun license, returned fire. The suspects continued to fire as they fled down the street and then crashed the Nissan into another car.
Several suspects then fled the vehicle and exchanged gunfire again with the male resident. Three of the suspects were struck. One was pronounced dead at the scene, a second was transported to Memorial Hermann Northwest Hospital where he was pronounced deceased and the third was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital in stable condition. A fourth suspect, who was not struck by gunfire, was detained at the scene. The male resident of the home was not injured. It is believed there are no additional suspects in this case.
The investigation is continuing.
