Investigation into Fatal Stabbing at 11670 Southwest Freeway

May 5, 2017 - Houston police are investigating the fatal stabbing of a male that occurred at 11670 Southwest Freeway (South U.S. Highway 59) at about 5 a.m. today (May 5).

The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant D. Fontenot and Officer T. Ferguson reported:

The victim was involved in an altercation at the El Viajero Sports Bar at the above address with three Hispanic males (suspects).  At some point during the argument, one of the suspects pulled a knife and stabbed the victim more than one time.  The unknown suspects then fled in a black Chevrolet Tahoe.
