Investigation into Fatal Crash at 10300 Main Street
March 27, 2017 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred at 10300 Main Street at about 6:40 p.m. on Sunday (March 26).
The identity of the male victim, 52, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant J. Duplechain and Officer A. Michon reported:
The victim was operating a black Suzuki motorcycle northbound on Main Street. According to witnesses, the victim was traveling at a high rate of speed, encountered traffic and attempted to brake. He then lost control of the motorcycle, struck a wall and flipped the motorcycle. He was pronounced dead at the scene. No other persons nor vehicles were involved in this crash.
