Investigation into Man Found Deceased at 12100 Murr Way
March 24, 2017 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a man found at 12100 Murr Way about 5:45 p.m. on Thursday (March 23).
The identity of the victim, 20, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Officers M. Dykens and J. Fay reported:
A juvenile walking home from school through an open field near a park when he smelled a foul odor and saw dirty clothing. The juvenile continued home, called 9-1-1 and led officers to the site. Officers found the body of a man in advanced decomposition.
The investigation is pending the man's cause of death.
