Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 4002 Corder
March 22, 2017 - Houston police are investigating the apparent accidental shooting of two men at 4002 Corder about 1:10 a.m. today (March 22).
The victims, Jordan Coleman, 17, and Alfred Harris, 19, of the above address, were transported to area hospitals where they were pronounced dead.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant B. Chebret and Detective M. Waters II reported:
Messrs. Jordan and Harris were inside their apartment at the above address when, according to witnesses, both men were loading and unloading a pistol and checking the safety. As both men manipulated the pistol, it accidentally discharged, striking Jordan. The weapon discharged a second time, striking Alfred. Both men were transported by HFD paramedics to area hospitals.
The investigation is continuing.
