Investigation into Man's Death at 1400 Redford
March 22, 2017 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a man found unresponsive at 1400 Redford about 10:45 p.m. on Tuesday (March 21).
The identity of the man, in his 40s, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. Horn reported:
HPD patrol officers and HFD paramedics responded to the above address regarding a man who had collapsed and appeared unresponsive after having an altercation with a female. The man was transported to Memorial Hermann Southeast Hospital where he was pronounced deceased. According to witnesses, the man appeared to be impaired on an unknown substance prior to and during the altercation. The female was detained at the scene. She was questioned and released, pending further investigation.
