Investigation into Man's Death at 4621 Market
March 17, 2017 - Houston police are investigating the death of a man found at 4621 Market at about 12:30 a.m. today (March 17).
The identity and cause of death of the victim are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Miller and Officer C. Elder reported:
HPD officers responded to a report of a person on fire behind an apartment complex at the above address. Upon arrival, Houston Fire Department personnel extinguished the fire and pronounced the victim deceased. The victim is described only as a black male, 35 to 40 years of age. He had sustained additional injuries other than those caused by the fire.
