Investigation into Bones Found at 6300 Bacher
March 16, 2017 - Houston police are awaiting results from the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences into the investigation of human bones found in the 6300 block of Bacher about 1:10 p.m. today (March 16).
The origin and possible identity of the remains are pending autopsy results.
HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officers J. Villareal and W. Huff reported:
The property owner recently purchased the land at the above address and was in the process of clearing it when he discovered bones on the ground. He then contacted HPD to report the discovery. Investigators with HPD and the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences responded to the scene and collected the bones.
