Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 1800 Rusk
March 8, 2017 - Houston police are investigating an apparent murder/attempted suicide incident at 1800 Rusk about 2:05 a.m. today (March 8).
The female victim, 33, was pronounced dead at the scene. Her identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. The male suspect was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital in critical condition
HPD Homicide Division Detectives M. Arroyo and S. Gromyko reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the above address and found a male and female unresponsive inside a vehicle. Paramedics pronounced the female deceased and transported the male to the hospital.
At this time, there are no known witnesses.
