Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 13830 Northlake Drive

June 2, 2017 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 13830 Northlake Drive about 9:35 p.m. on Thursday (June 1).

The victim, Joseph Reyes, 17, of the above address, was pronounced dead at Memorial Hermann Hospital.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. Rhodes and Officer M. Dykens reported:

Officers responded to a shooting call at the above address and found Mr. Reyes lying in the driveway.  He had sustained a gunshot wound to the head.  Paramedics transported Reyes to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

Several witnesses to the incident returned to the scene and provided statements to investigators.
