Investigation into Fatal Crash at 2500 Noble
June 26, 2017 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred at 2500 Noble at about 8 a.m. today (June 26).
The identity of the male victim, 66, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant K. Harris and Officer J. Gaona reported:
The driver of a gray Mitsubishi GT was traveling westbound on Noble when he stopped at a stop sign at the intersection of Carr. As the driver pulled away from the stop sign, he failed to yield the right of way to a Chevrolet Ventura, traveling southbound on Carr, and struck the Ventura. The impact caused the Chevrolet to roll over, killing the driver of the Chevrolet. The driver of the Mitsubishi remained at the scene.
No charges have been filed at this time, as the investigation is continuing.
