Investigation into Fatal Crash at 3800 South Dairy Ashford

June 9, 2017 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 3800 South Dairy Ashford about 9:05 a.m. today (June 9).

The identity of the deceased male victim, 60, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant G. Lopez and Officer D. Ashford reported:

The victim was driving a black Toyota Tacoma northbound at the above address when he failed to maintain a single lane, left the roadway and struck a brick wall.  Paramedics transported the driver to West Houston Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead.  

The victim might have experienced a medical episode that caused the crash.  The investigation is continuing.
