Investigation into Fatal Crash at 4600 North Loop

July 3, 2017 - Houston police are investigating the fatal crash that occurred at 4600 North Loop (North U.S. Highway 610) at about 2 a.m. on Saturday (July 1).

The identity of the female victim, 59, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant E. Fendia and Officer C. Clark reported:

The driver (victim) of a white Pontiac Grand Prix was traveling eastbound on the North Loop when the vehicle struck the dividing barrier.  The victim, who was not wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene. 

There were no other persons nor vehicles involved in this crash.
