Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 5400 Minden

January 23, 2017 - The fatal shooting of a man at 5400 Minden at 6:50 p.m. on Saturday (January 21) will be referred to a Harris County grand jury.

The identity of the victim is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. Rhodes and Officer D. Crowder reported:

Officers responded to a report of a shooting at the above address and found the victim deceased from a gun shot wound.  The suspect was detained at the scene and, after being questioned by investigators, was released. 

The investigation is continuing.
