Investigation into Shooting at 9900 Murray Brook Drive

January 23, 2017 - Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man and woman that occurred at 9900 Murray Brook Drive about 2:20 p.m. on Sunday (January 22).  

The male victim, Irvin Gonzales, 23, was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital in critical condition.  The female victim, Reina Castellon, 23, was also transported to Ben Taub General Hospital in stable condition.  

HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officers B. Nabors and L. Lovelace reported:  

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the above address and found Mr. Gonzales and Ms. Castellon suffering from gunshot wounds.  HFD paramedics responded to the scene and transported both victims to the hospital.  According to witnesses, an unknown vehicle pulled alongside the victims' vehicle as it traveled eastbound in the 8000 block of South Braeswood and an unknown suspect then fired several shots into the victims' vehicle.  The suspects fled the scene while the victims drove to the above address.

There is no known vehicle or suspect description at this time.
