Investigation into Man Found Deceased at 7900 Main Street

January 9, 2017 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a man found at 7900 Main Street about 8:30 a.m. on Saturday (Jan. 7).

The victim, James Pierce, 54, was pronounced dead at the scene.  

HPD Homicide Division Senior Police Officer L. Bailey and Officer J. Young reported:

The victim, who is homeless, was found deceased in the rear parking lot near the dumpster area of a CVS pharmacy store at the above address.  He had suffered apparent superficial injuries to his forehead and right arm that appeared consistent with a fall.  An autopsy will determine his cause of death.
