Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 4015 Tidwell

February 20, 2017 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man that occurred at 4015 Tidwell at about 1:20 a.m. on Sunday (February 19).

The identity of the male victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. Horn and Officer B. Roberts reported:

Officers responded to a report of a shooting at the above address and found the victim lying in the parking lot.  Houston Fire Department personnel responded and pronounced the victim deceased.  Witnesses reported the victim had been arguing with an unknown male suspect in a white four-door sedan.  The suspect was inside the vehicle when he fired one shot, striking the victim.  The vehicle then fled the scene.
