Investigation into Stabbing of Man at 5850 West Gulf Bank

February 20, 2017 - Houston police are investigating the stabbing of a man that occurred at 5850 West Gulf Bank #2508 at about 8:30 p.m. on Saturday (February 18).  

The male, Adrian Dickey, 42, was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital in critical, but stable condition.

HPD Homicide Division Officers B. Thomas and R. Moss reported:

Officers were dispatched to an assault at an apartment complex at the above address and met by a male who stated he and Mr. Dickey were in an apartment when the two began arguing and Dickey attacked him.  At that time, the male stated he stabbed Dickey in self-defense and then called police. 

The case is pending further investigation and information from Dickey, who was unable to provide a statement to investigators at the scene.
