Investigation into Man Found Fatally Shot at 5145 Higgins

February 14, 2017 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found at 5145 Higgins about 4:30 p.m. on Monday (February 13).  

The identity of the victim, 27, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  

HPD Homicide Division Detectives C. Hogue and T. Miller reported:  

The victim was shot near a small apartment complex at the above address.  He was transported by HFD paramedics to Ben Taub General Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.  

At this time, there is no known motive nor suspect(s).
