Fatal Crash at 17300 Westheimer Parkway

February 1, 2017 - Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 17300 Westheimer Parkway about 11:35 p.m. on Tuesday (Jan. 31).

The identity of the male victim, 21, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant E. Fendia and Officer M. Serafine reported:

The victim was driving a black Cadillac westbound at the above address when he failed to maintain a single lane and exited the roadway onto a grassy shoulder.  The vehicle flipped and the victim was ejected.  He was pronounced dead at the scene.  A female passenger sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital.

The investigation is continuing.
