Investigation into Male Found Deceased at 9800 Lawndale
December 29, 2017 - Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a male found at 9800 Lawndale about 1 p.m. today.
The identity of the male, who was found wearing only shorts and a pair of socks, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant J. Rhodes and Detective J. Nguyen reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a report of a body found on the embankment along Sims Bayou, near the above address. The HPD Dive Team responded to the scene and recovered the male's body from the water.
The investigation is pending the male's cause of death.
