Investigation into Fatal Crash at 13100 Bellaire Boulevard
December 15, 2017 - A woman critically injured in a crash at 13100 Bellaire Boulevard about 2:10 p.m. on December 12 has died from her injuries.
The identity of the victim, 84, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant F. Briones and Officer D. Bledsoe reported:
The driver of a black Cadillac ATS was traveling southbound on Synott and turned east at the intersection of Bellaire Boulevard. According to witnesses, the victim failed to yield the right of way, stepped into the intersection to walk south on Synott across Bellaire and was struck by the Cadillac. She was transported by HFD paramedics to an area hospital where doctors pronounced her deceased on Thursday (December 14).
No charges have been filed at this time, as the investigation is continuing.
