Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 5109 Bataan
December 13, 2017 - Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a male that occurred at 5109 Bataan about 3:35 a.m. today.
The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives A. Barr and M. Perez reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to s shooting call at the above address and found a black vehicle parked on the north side of the roadway with the doors open. Officers approached the vehicle and found indications a shooting had occurred and a deceased male inside the vehicle.
Further investigation determined a dark-colored sedan fled the scene at a high rate of speed northbound on Martin Luther King Boulevard from 5100 Bataan.
